Study Summary
A new clinical study in the March 2009 issue of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology finds that Albolene® is as effective in reducing mild to moderate eczema as prescription Mimyx®. Noted North Carolina dermatologist Zoe Draelos, M.D., found Albolene to be effective in the reduction of itching, dryness and scaling related to mild to moderate eczema. Albolene also resolved the eczema with the same rapidity as the prescription moisturizer. In addition, when evaluating for redness, peeling, dryness, stinging and itching from the eczema, there was no statistically significant difference, indicating Albolene and Mimyx were comparable in terms of the healing of mild to moderate eczema, as well. Using Albolene daily can provide superior moisturization for itching and scaling associated with dry skin conditions, such as eczema.
